My name is Ellen Bonadurer and I have been with this list since its beginnings. I spend most my time reading and pondering what is posted. And sometimes looking in my dictionary to know what was said. I am married for 24 years to Martin. 2 children, JoAnna, 21 and David, 16. I am excited to see what new directions writers will take, telling the stories of this next century, of our global heritage and diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Here is our family history:
First Generation:
*(my husband) Martin Henry Bonadurer III, born in 1951 in Las Vergas, Nevada, is owner of a telecommunications company in St. George, Utah- married in 1973 to Ellen McCleve (me).
Children:
Jo Anna Bonadurer born 1976, is married to Michael Maclennan and is working at a Child care center in St. George, Utah
David Oliver Bonadurer born 1980, is a collge student living in St. George, Utah
Second Generation
*Martin Henry Bonadurer jr. of Cheyenne, Wyoming born in 23. april 1926 in Roanoke, Virginia (died  19. Sept. 1998 Salt Lake City, Utah) was a civil engineer in St. George, Utah- married in 1950 to Rula Barton (died in 1992) she was a seamstress. (Mothers Name: Ada Armetha Coon Bonadurer??) SERVED IN THE MILITARYDURING WORLD WAR II
Children:
William Bonadurer born 1950 in Las Vergas, Nevada, is a computer technician in Las Vegas, He is divorced and has 1 son.

Alice Mavis Bonadurer born 1953 in Cedar City, Utah, is a banker
Sherri Rene Bonadurer born 1956 in Cedar City, Utah, is married to Douglas Burnham and is working as a Nurse in Los Angeles, California. They have two children
Micheal Ronald Bonadurer born 1965 in Cedar City, Utah is an automobile mechanic in St. Georg, Utah. He is divorced and has 1 son.
Third Generation
Martin Henry Bonadurer, born in 1896 in Chicago, Illinois, (Died 1982) was a Salesman in Los Angeles, California- married in 1914 to Gertrude Ernest Villeneuve (died in 1929).
Children:
Oliver Cromwell Bonadurer, born 1916 in Waycross, Georgia (died 1964) was mechanical engineer in Los Angeles California- married to Marian Rainey. They had two daughters . *Martin Henry Bonadurer jr.
Fourth Generation:
This is where our information starts getting vague. Martin Bonadurer, born in Switzerland (died 1931) was married to Paulina Priess
Children:
Katura Bonadurer, born 1894 in Chicago, Illinois - Married Walter Wilson. The family lost track of her in 1931. I am trying to find any information about her or her children. It is very frustrating to loose track of a relative

Fifth Generation:
Within the husband was George or George Martin Bonadurer from Switzerland- married to Margreth Genua from Switzerland, also. The names were handwritten on a deat certificate and very difficult to read.

This would be our link to Europe but I have no idea where in Switzerland they came from and really no record of when they came or where they entered the United States.
